LALIGA VS INITIATIVES

Awareness campaign in which we appeal to all fans to consider how hateful behaviors can influence children.

LALIGA reports all violence in football to the authorities and is a plaintiff in criminal proceedings for incidents occurring in stadiums.

LALIGA has been running workshops since 2014 to promote sporting values, such as respect and honesty, across all 42 clubs, with the aim of preventing fraud, cheating and violence, ensuring the integrity of the competition.

An educational project that promotes sporting values among children to encourage a respectful approach to sport, aimed at primary schools, extracurricular programmes and social risk groups throughout Spain.

Launched in 2021, LALIGA ACADEMY supports global grassroots football with projects for players and coaches, incorporating group and individual awareness dynamics on diversity, equality and respect through training and practical workshops.

At LEGENDS, The Home of Football, presented by LALIGA, an important campaign against hate was staged by displaying the handbags belonging to Real Betis players Borja Iglesias and Aitor Ruival in the museum, making them symbols in the fight against hate in sport.

LALIGA and Aficiones Unidas create an annual handbook to promote tolerance among fans.

LALIGA and Aficiones Unidas provide LALIGA players with a Player Handbook highlighting the importance of football free of hate.

The 16 team captains in the competition wore armbands with the same slogan used in LALIGA, 'United to keep racism out of the game'. Reflecting the unity of the two leagues against hate and discrimination.

Scarves with the message "Together against Racism" were handed out at both LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION stadiums where members of the supporters clubs travelled.
